Our Charges

All our fees are fixed at outset. Currently the rates are as follows:

Basic Wills cost £95.00 each. The fee to amend or update your Will is £20.00.

Complex Will charges are based on the complexity. Costs will be agreed with you at outset.

LPA’s cost £250.00 per person (that includes both parts)

In addition to the above, disbursements will be added to the invoice. A typical example is the cost of a Land Registry search, currently £7.00. You will be provided with a copy of any search carried out.

The above fees are due when work commences in all cases.

In addition to the above, when you register your LPA documents with the Office of the Public Guardian you will usually be charged £92.00 for each document. People on low incomes or on some benefits can obtain 50% or 100% reductions on the registration cost. See form LPA 120 for details.

Probate applications cost £500.00 assuming no inheritance tax is payable and nobody registers a Caveat. Ask me for more details. Where Inheritance Tax is due please ask for a personalised quote at outset.

This fee is due when the application is complete and ready to be submitted to the Probate Service.

The Probate office will also charge a fixed fee of £300.00 when the forms are submitted plus a further £1.50 for each additional copy of the Grant (probably best to order several copies as you may have to send them to various institutions).
