Our Charges

All our fees are fixed at outset. Currently the rates are as follows:

Basic Wills cost £95.00 each. The fee to amend or update your Will is £20.00.

Complex Will charges are based on the complexity. Costs will be agreed with you at outset.

LPA’s cost £250.00 per person (that includes both parts)

In addition to the above, disbursements will be added to the invoice. A typical example is the cost of a Land Registry search, currently £7.00. You will be provided with a copy of any search carried out.

In addition to the above, when you register your LPA documents with the Office of the Public Guardian you will usually be charged £82.00 for each document. People on low incomes or on some benefits can obtain 50% or 100% reductions on the registration cost. See form LPA 120 for details.

Probate applications cost £500.00 assuming no inheritance tax is payable and nobody registers a Caveat. Ask me for more details.

The Probate office will also charge a fixed fee of £300.00 when the forms are submitted plus a further £1.50 for each additional copy of the Grant (probably best to order several copies as you may have to send them to various institutions).
